Requirements & Skills

• Current Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential
• Proven experience in inpatient clinical nutrition and dietetic practice
• Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy and diet planning for diverse patient populations
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Ability to assess, develop, implement, and evaluate nutrition care plans
• Proficiency in documentation and use of electronic health records

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nutrition assessments on hospitalized patients
• Develop and implement appropriate nutrition care plans tailored to individual patient needs
• Provide ongoing monitoring and evaluation of patients’ nutritional status and response to interventions
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families regarding dietary recommendations and healthy eating habits
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards related to nutrition services
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential required
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a dietitian in Minnesota
• Experience in inpatient dietetics or clinical nutrition settings preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team

Compensation: Hourly rate of $57.00 - $67.00
